Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of ClearFace, including our website, apps and search services. By using ClearFace you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who Can Use ClearFace

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. ClearFace is offered in the United States and is not available in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

Your Account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details secure. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Using Search

ClearFace lets you upload an image and see public profiles and sources connected to the faces in it. Results include public figures with verified public profiles and people who have enrolled and chosen to be findable.

You agree to use results lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use ClearFace to stalk, harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone.

Opting Out

You can ask us to remove your data or any result that shows you at any time using the opt-out form. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Enrollment

If you enroll, you choose which profiles and links appear in results. You can change or delete your enrollment at any time, and we will remove your face template when you do.

Content You Upload

You must have the right to upload any image you submit. Uploaded images are processed to run your search and are not kept afterwards, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Payments

Some features may require a paid plan. Prices and billing terms are shown before you buy. Fees are non-refundable except under the refund policy on our Pricing page or where the law requires otherwise.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You can close your account at any time.

Disclaimers

ClearFace is provided as is. Matches are probabilistic and may be wrong. Do not rely on results as the sole basis for any decision that affects someone’s rights, safety, employment, housing or credit.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, ClearFace is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will tell you before they take effect.
